The Construction and Finishing Materials Sector in Poland 2026
The 2026 edition of the report “The Construction and Finishing Materials Sector in Poland”, prepared by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), presents the latest developments, trends and opportunities shaping Poland’s construction and finishing materials sector. It also features a catalogue of Polish companies offering innovative products, technologies and services and looking for new business opportunities and international partners.
The construction and finishing materials sector has become one of the key pillars of the Polish economy and an important driver of innovation and international cooperation. The construction sector generates around 10% of Poland’s GDP and provides employment to more than one million people. Polish manufacturers of construction and finishing materials have successfully built a strong position on international markets, increasingly competing through quality, advanced technologies and modern design.
Poland is a European leader in several segments of the construction industry. Polish companies are the world’s leading exporters of windows and doors, while Poland is also the largest ceramic tile producer in the European Union and an important exporter of modular construction solutions. The country’s key export destinations include Germany, France, Italy, Czechia and the Netherlands.
At the same time, the sector is undergoing a major transformation driven by sustainability, digitalisation, automation and robotisation. Polish companies are increasingly developing energy-efficient technologies, low-emission materials, circular economy solutions and smart building systems, while modern digital tools and automation are helping to improve productivity and quality.
The report also explores Poland’s growing role as a European hub for prefabrication and the export of building materials, as well as the impact of new ESG regulations and the development of automation and robotisation in construction. It presents examples of Polish companies successfully expanding internationally and demonstrates the innovative potential of the sector.
We invite you to read the 2026 Report and discover the potential of the Polish construction and finishing materials sector and the companies ready to build new international partnerships.
The report has been prepared as part of the Polish Construction and Finishing Materials Sector Promotion Program, within the SME Internationalisation – “Brand HUB” Project, and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the European Funds for Smart Economy 2021–2027 Programme.
